ABOUT THE RIDE
Chandler's Angels Initiative (CAI) was founded in 2020 in memory of my son, Chandler, whose life was tragically taken by senseless violence.
CAI is dedicated to empowering and supporting at-risk and underserved youth here in Manchester by providing them with safe spaces and positive outlets as they navigate life's challenges.
Our mission is crystal clear: to create safe environments where inner-city youth can truly thrive.
CAI proudly supports a teen drop-in center in Manchester, offering young people a safe and nurturing space. We also recognize the transformative power of youth sports in promoting physical and mental well-being, fostering social and emotional development, and unlocking opportunities for personal and academic growth.
That's why CAI sponsors a range of initiatives, from open gyms for basketball to academic programs for non-mainstreamed youth.
In addition to these vital programs, CAI hosts annual 3on3 basketball tournaments and funds improvements to inner-city athletic facilities, including recent enhancements to the Beech Street basketball court in Manchester. We also sponsor youth sports programs, such as the Manchester Angels Soccer League and the Manchester Bears Football program, further expanding our reach and impact in the community.
Now, for Chandler's Ride's 5th Anniversary, we're pulling out all the stops! In addition to our heartfelt Gratitude and VIP passes, our sponsors will receive commemorative Chandler's Ride t-shirts and/or sweatshirts specially crafted to honor this milestone event.
Chandler's Ride is absolutely integral to our fundraising efforts. This annual motorcycle event, held in honor of Chandler, raises critical funds to support our programs and initiatives. As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, we are deeply committed to transparency and accountability in all that we do.
We firmly believe that every young person deserves the chance to realize their full potential. With your support and generosity, we can continue to make this vision a reality.
